Appointments can be made by calling 0808 196 2340 (freephone) Our acute service is available 24/7 for Children and Young People who have recently experienced (within the last 3 weeks) sexual violence or abuse. This is located at the Horizon Centre SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre).
We also have appointments available, through our non-recent service, in the following locations:
The Oasis Suite - Birmingham Children's Hospital, Birmingham
The Glade - Bransford, Worcestershire
The Blue Sky Centre - George Elliot Hospital, Warwickshire
Grange Park - Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent
We cannot offer a walk-in service within the Children and Young Persons Service.
What to do if you need our Service
When is this the right service for a child or young person?
Disclosure or suspected disclosure of sexual abuse/assault.
Child about whom there are reasons to suspect child sexual abuse i.e exploitation, siblings.
Over sexualised/harmful sexual behavior
Genital health when there are concerns about sexual abuse.
Adults aged 18-25 who present with complex needs.
What you should do
If the child is under 13, contact the police and children’s social care.
If the child is 13 and over, you can still contact the police or social care but you can also self-refer
All cases will involve a strategy meeting facilitated by our safeguarding and strategy manager.

Police and Social Care Referrals
Most children and young people who visit our service will have been referred by the Police and/or Social Care, who will book an appointment on their behalf. Professionals who need to make an appointment for a child or young person please use the contact details provided above.
Some young people who visit our service may want to receive all of the important medical care and aftercare support referrals, without Police involvement. If you would like to make an appointment with our service, but don't want to report the incident to the Police, please contact us using the contact details provided above.
