The West Midlands Children's and Young Person's Service (CYPS) is provided by Mountain Healthcare Ltd., for anyone aged 17 and under who has experienced sexual violence and/or sexual abuse, either recently or in the past. We offer a regional service which provides care, including free support and practical help, to children, young people and their families or carers, in Staffordshire, West Midlands, West Mercia and Warwickshire.
We are here to help regardless of when the abuse happened. You will need an appointment before coming to one of our centres. To book your appointment please call us at 0808 196 2340 or email us at wmppaeds.sarc@nhs.net Our team can normally arrange for you to visit within 24-48 hours, so you won't have to wait long.
You can report what happened to the Police or contact us directly via telephone on 0808 196 2340. If you would like to be seen for an examination, without Police involvement, we can discuss this with you. We are still accepting referrals from professionals, please use the pathways in place to arrange an appointment. During this time, we are completing COVID-19 risk assessments and we may complete some aspects of the holistic assessment over the phone. We take the safety of our staff and patients very seriously and can reassure you that we are following current legislation and guidance. Staff and visitors to our SARC will be given access to required Personal Protective Equipment.
